Preparation and Analysis

In this phase, the existing applications, processes and reports are reviewed to determine how best to leverage ProVerp to be the single source for supporting administrative, sales and manufacturing processes.

Deliverables:

  • Review and document the functionality utilized for current applications
  • Review and document the associated processes
  • Review and document report requirements

Project Plan

In this phase, the project is planned to include determining each task, assigning the duration of time to complete each task and the person responsible. The key to a successful implementation is the commitment by the team to adhere to the schedule and to work as a team to overcome unexpected delays.

Deliverables

  • Documentthe detailed project plan with tasks, durations and assignments
  • Initiate weekly update meeting
  • Distribute weekly project update reports to team participants and executive sponsors

Configuration

In this phase, ProVerp is configured to support codes such as Product Type and Lead Source to improve data management and reports. Roles are also defined to set up the proper access to functionality and information at all levels of the organization. Workflows are setup to insure consistency in execution of all core processes.

Deliverables

  • Determine and setup codes using the setup wizards
  • Define role specifications and setup authorizations
  • Create workflows including detailed steps and multi-level approvals

Data Conversion

In this phase, processes are designed and certified to extract the data from all source applications. Where necessary, data is modeled to be transformed including data types and attributes. The transformed data is loaded to the pre-production environment in order to test and certify the data prior to going live.

Deliverables

  • Document and execute extract process from source systems
  • Model and develop data transformations
  • Test load the data and certify accuracy

Training and Support

In this phase, the rollout is planned including the method for training centralized and remote staff. The initial training is directed to the testing team so they can ensure the data is accurate and functionality tested. The remaining training must be completed prior to executive approval for the implementation to go live.

  • Create training plan
  • Determine training groups and schedule
  • Complete training test scenarios
